Oh Dear!!!!!!!!!!!

There was once a place of safety in my home, a place where I could leave Leah so that I could be sure she was not on one of her curiosity field trips …………. which is all part of growing up, but its much better to have mom supervising those exciting field trips because Leah, loves to  explore all the wrong places, like the garbage bin, sometimes she pops a left over tidbit into her mouth, she has munched on a worm not to mention the poor defenseless snail who also lost his life in a tasting incident that happened a few months ago.

But not to stray away from the subject at hand…………………… the safe place was once known as a camp cot, we would put Leah in it if we needed a ” hands free moment” and we were content that no insects were being harmed, but I now have no safe place any longer, Leah has performed a “Prison Break” and she has done it with a smile, so today the trusty camper that has serverd us well is not longer of use………….. but it has become an excelent toy box!!!!!

So I have my hands full with my little “escapeologist ”

The breakout!!!

look at that naughty face

  1. I love this post it really made me smile. Leah will never go hungry!! I think escapology must be an achon trait..Fern is quite an expert too, cant keep your eyes off them for a minute..

  2. Poor, Poor Snail…it served the garden well! Leah is a stinker I tell you! Keep eyes on her, she’ll be breaks boys hearts next and you won’t even know it!

  3. Hi Char!

I came across your blog one day through Tonya’s and have been following your story ever since. So, I just wanted to introduce myself and tell you that Leah is such a Cutie! As if you didn’t know that already 🙂

Tonya and I met at a local LPA event. I am involved because my best friend, though not Achon, does have a very mild form of dwarfism. Anyway, to make a long story short I became involved because the national conference was being held only minutes away from where I live and I wanted to show my support somehow. So, I volunteered in the childrens room for the entire week. I am a professional nanny and also have taught preschool, so children are my life. In factt, I am trying to get back to school to become a Pediatric Nurse.

Nice to finally be able to say hello, sorry for the long, drawn out comment!

  4. I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw the pictures of your escapee! I can’t say that Caitlyn ever went to that extreme, but she has managed to figure out how to get into things she shouldn’t have! TOO FUNNY!!

  5. Thanks! I have always had a special place in my heart for LP’s and I am thrilled to be able to show my support in any way I can. Mind if I link your blog to mine?
