What a great post! Leah sounds very much like Preston who will climb everything and anything he can. And running-oh I am so happy you can admit you cannot catch up either! She is so precious. I love that she whispers in everyone’s ear. How precious is she?

I can completely understand where you’re coming from. It’s amazing…how God knew what he was doing when he gave us our little “special” kids, isn’t it? I’ve always known that Jamie was given to us for a reason. I believe it was to teach all of us, everyone in our family, patience, compassion, and unconditional love. And Jamie has done that for a lot of us.

Leah Kay is so beautiful!! I love hearing about all that you are doing to grow Dwarfism Awareness in South Africa! I hope more and more families are inspired by you and your family and can let go of their fears of raising a child with dwarfism! I agree too – there is strength in numbers!

Leah is a beauty. I can understand you had more fears perhaps because of where you live. there are a lot of resources in the US and the acceptance is better. We all struggled in the beginning. But I think watching our kids grow into these amazing independent people is what has dispelled those fears. I applaud you for getting the South Africa LPA off the ground!

We have no answers to why things happen to us, but how we deal with them is what affects our lives and those of our families!
